CCMAU commentary on 2006/07 performance Landcare Research’s financial performance for the year was slightly below expectations, but ahead of its 2005/06 financial result for both revenue and net profit. CarboNZero experienced dramatic growth during the year, with an additional 300 organisations and individuals signing up. CarboNZero is Landcare Research’s certification programme for businesses and individuals to demonstrate positive action in measuring, reducing and offsetting greenhouse gas emissions. Sirtrack Ltd faced a challenging year with several factors impacting on revenue, including the loss of a significant European revenue stream and the impact of a strong New Zealand dollar. Despite this, a continued increased sales and marketing effort in Australia and New Zealand, combined with new product releases, resulted in an 8% revenue growth in these two markets.
