Corporate Social Responsibility

This site provides CSR resources for all Crown-owned companies, but SOEs in particular, who are obliged to implement a CSR programme consistent with the framework agreed to by Cabinet on 23 October 2007 (refer to CSR Cabinet Paper & Minute).

Shareholding Ministers have outlined their high-level CSR expectations in the recently revised Owners Expectations Manual.  Ministers also outlined their expectations in a letter to all SOEs dated 25 June 2007, which also asked for information on respective CSR policies and processes.  This letter, plus all the responses, can be accessed here.
